Speaker A

I always listen to music when I cook. Music helps me to deal with the routine. I often find myself not only singing and dancing to music but beating eggs, chopping meat, and sprinkling herbs to music as well. I have different kinds of music for different dishes. When I cook meat, I usually listen to classical music. When I bake a pie, I have some romantic music on, and rock is for pizza.

Speaker B

I love cooking. Some people say cooking is boring, but I know some ways to make it fun. For example, themed dinners. You can cook paella on a Spanish Monday, fish-and-chips on an English Friday, or delicious baklava on a Turkish Sunday. You can announce an Orange or a Green Monday and cook orange- or green-coloured dishes. You can use the ideas based on films and books, myths, and fairy tales. It might be difficult to do that daily, but try to do it at least once a week.

Speaker C

I cook with kids, and that is great fun. And that's what you can do if you can hardly find the time to spend with your kids during the week. The things which may seem boring to me are great fun for my kids. They love beating eggs, chopping meat, grating cheese, and peeling potatoes. All I have to do is to give some instructions, supervise and help. They take great pride in helping me to cook. We started with simple dishes such as boiled or fried eggs or steamed vegetables, and now they can roast chicken, fry fish, and bake a cake. Isn't that wonderful?

Speaker D

What's the way to make your everyday cooking fun? I don't know. I hate cooking. It's a waste of time. I live alone, so I just eat out or buy takeaway food. Of course, I can boil some eggs, make an omelette, grate some cheese to put on a pizza base, or slice some bread and ham for my sandwiches. But I won't grill fish, roast chicken or mash potatoes. Sometimes, I miss homemade food, but I can have plenty of it when I come to visit my parents.

Speaker E

Nobody in our family likes cooking, so we just take it in turns to do the cooking. For example, I cook on Mondays, my husband cooks on Wednesdays, and our teenage son cooks on Fridays. He is fond of cooking and wants to be a chef, so Fridays are the best. He cooks everything, from mashed potatoes and steamed rice to steak or grilled fish. He likes the food to be not only delicious but appealing as well. As everyone does the cooking in our family, nobody gets really tired of it.
