It goes without saying that social media websites have replaced face-to-face interaction nowadays. Blogging and streaming have become our reality now.

The research has shown that social media has got some serious problems. A lot of people say that they have sent the messages they regretted later. Besides, they admitted criticising and insulting people online that they didn't even know in person. According to some sourсes, more than a third of users became victims of cyberbullying last year.

Professor Adrian Dunbar said that the results of the research have proved, that people are more likely to say something on social media that they will later regret because in the digital environment we don't receive the immediate feedback that we get during face-to-face interaction. This leads to cyberbullying.
