Three kids—Lera, Max and Petya—need to make a presentation for school on how not to get sick. They decided to go to the school nurse to ask about it. That's what he told them:
I'm so glad you asked! It's always better to prevent an illness, than to treat it. And it can be great fun, too! The first and probably the most obvious thing to do is get enough exercise, and you can do it in our P.E. lessons. Also, playing sports is great, because it's not only a physical activity, but also a great place to make friends. Being on the team brings positive feelings and emotions, and that helps us stay healthy, too. This is because of the "happy" hormones, endorphins, so playing on the team makes us happy, and a happy person is a healthy person. Then, you should always get enough sunshine. Sun makes our skin produce vitamin D, which is very important for a strong immune system. And the last important thing is to get enough sleep, and the younger you are, the more sleep you need!
