Boston Children's Museum is one of the oldest and largest museums in the world. A group of Boston teachers created it in 1913 for kids to play, study and do other interesting activities together. Children and their parents can discover and learn a lot about science, arts, nature and so many other things now. The museum has a collection of rocks and minerals that began a long time ago. More than 50,000 objects are there now, and each has its own story.
Children say that the best thing is the collection of toys. Michael Denker and his family gave the collection to the museum. There were toys from Star Wars, Marvel and Disney. These were all made in the 1980s and 1990s, and they're all really cool! Boston Children's Museum became so popular that 600,000 people visited it in 2012!
