School uniform

It is as old as time to wear a school uniform. This is a significant aspect of school life. However, it is controversial and brings a variety of perspectives. We need to determine if there are more advantages or disadvantages to wearing shirts, trousers, skirts and shirts of the same colour. Beginning with the advantages, the school uniform offers students a sense of belonging. School children who identify with a social institute experience a sense of security, protection and trustworthiness. The second reason why wearing school uniform is beneficial is when students don't differ from each other in terms of clothes and accessories, there is no competition for attention and attractiveness.

Today, the level of peer pressure is so high that adolescents are especially confronted with communication difficulties. The clothes without differences give them the drop of calm and peace. In addition, the school uniform is seen as smart and prepares students for the dress code in future workplaces. Garments and the way people look are crucial and sometimes double chances to get the desired job. Some parents and teachers believe that ordinary and unified clothing contributes to success in school. There are no distractions or disputes with parents, school administration, friends or acquaintances.

Admittedly, the school uniform has a few drawbacks. First, it may create an additional financial burden for parents. We must deal with it, shirts, pants, blouses, dresses are not inexpensive and short-lived. Pupils do not have the possibility of expressing themselves. If they were given the opportunity to choose what they should wear based on their feelings, thoughts and beliefs, they would not need to express themselves through extraordinary appearance or reprehensible behaviour. What's better than wearing your favourite jeans and a comfy sweater? Last but not least, there are obviously enough different things that could become the cause of intimidation and embarrassment in this day and age. Mobile phones, vehicle type, pocket money, cosmetics, digital devices are all listed. Unfortunately, wearing an academic uniform cannot solve all the modern problems of the education system.
