Maria:
I really enjoyed the "Swan Lake" performance at the Bolshoi Theatre. The main dancers were excellent. Maria Ivanova was fantastic as Odette and Odile. Her dancing was very precise and emotional, especially in the Black Swan part. The group of dancers moved together perfectly, almost like they were one person. The music was beautiful and made me feel many different emotions. This was a typical Bolshoi show.
Michael:
The Bolshoi's "Nutcracker" was wonderful. The dance followed the traditional style, but it still felt fresh and exciting. The girl playing Clara was very sweet and brought a lot of joy to her role. The stage decorations were really beautiful and detailed. My favorite part was the Snowflake Dance. The dancers moved like real snowflakes, which was magical. It wasn't a perfect show, but it made me remember why I love ballet.
John:
I was disappointed by the Bolshoi's "Romeo and Juliet". The main dancers knew their steps well, but they didn't show much emotion. Their dance didn't feel like a passionate love story. The stage design seemed old-fashioned, and the choreography didn't bring anything new to the story. The orchestra also had some problems and sometimes played out of sync. Considering how expensive the tickets were, I expected a much better performance.
