Guess the mythical creatures. Pay attention to the use of compound adjectives.

It is a legendary creature that has featured in many myths and legends. It is depicted as an enormous, reptile-like, ground-shaking, three-headed, fire-breathing animal. If there are any human characters nearby, it can roar. You have to cover your ears in pain, maybe even fall to your knees, depending on how close to the animal you are.

It is a legendary creature mentioned in Greek and Egyptian myths with a lion-like body, a human-like head and eagle-like wings. It guarded the entrance of the Greek city Thebes and asked the travellers who wished to enter the city to guess a riddle. Anyone who failed to answer was eaten alive.

They are half-human and half-horse mythical creatures, usually, with the upper body of a human and the lower body of a horse. They are considered to be savage creatures. One exception was Chiron, who was very wise and tutored many Greek heroes.
