Настоящее простое время (Present Simple)

V1/Vs — don't/doesn't + V1.

Употребляется, когда речь идёт:

• о постоянных действиях в настоящем:

  She goes to school;

• повседневных действиях:

  Mary drinks tea in the morning;

• повторяющихся действиях в настоящем:

  They play football every Sunday.

Настоящее длительное время (Present Continuous)

Am/is/are + Ving.

Используется, когда речь идёт:

• о действии, которое происходит сейчас, в момент речи:

  She is doing her homework now;

• действии, происходящем в настоящий период времени, не обязательно в данный момент:

  He is looking for a new job at the moment;

• запланированном действии в будущем:

  I am meeting John this afternoon.
