My grandma has always claimed that our health is in our hands. She is seventy-five but she is as [ ] . Bad habits are off-limits for her because she leads a healthy lifestyle. Of course, like all elderly people, she bears some health concerns. My grandma can become [ ] because of low blood pressure. She can catch a cold or have headaches. She has even [ ] to solve her knee problems.
Still, this unbelievable woman is always quickly [ ] and, as you might imagine, not due to taking numerous medicines. She is convinced that such "chemical medications" don't [ ]. Only home remedies are the best treatment for her. She drinks hot tea with lemon if she catches a cold or has a runny nose. Drinking more water helps her to cope with low blood pressure, and a cold compress is the first aid for headaches.
My granny also believes that everyday physical activity is the best way to [ ] for good health. She does exercises twice a day, prefers open-air walks and has even taken a fancy to yoga.
She still works in the flower shop my father owns. Of course, it's a part-time job because my dad doesn't want his mum to get too tired or overworked. My granny always jokes that she's lucky not to have [ ] boss. This job is like a hobby for her because she adores dealing with flowers.
What is more, my grandma likes [ ] and sometimes tries something new or extreme. So, recently she has taken up extreme driving. And, despite the fact that she [ ] every lesson, she is completely thrilled about it.
So, is(are) your granny(ies) as alive and kicking as mine? Leave your comments below and find out more about my family members in my next blog.
