Complete the task. Three teens are talking about their attitude to superstitions. Read the text and answer the questions below. More than one answer is possible.

Ben, 16

I'm not superstitious, not at all! I only believe in what science has proved! And I know that only hard work and knowledge can bring good luck. But you know who's extremely superstitious? My sister! She thinks that certain events can bring good or bad luck. Sometimes, I even think she believes in magic! For example, she always knocks on wood when something bad happens to her as if it could help somehow. Can you imagine that? As for me, it's all too silly and naive.

Sarah, 15

Well, I can't say that I'm superstitious, but sometimes I notice the signs the world sends to me. When I see a black cat, I change my route. And I'll never have an exam on Friday, 13th! My grandma is always very serious about these beliefs. As for me, I'm not sure if they work or not but I try to follow the most popular of them. It's a strong tradition in my family.

Rita, 16

My family is extremely superstitious. You can't take a step without "do this" or "don't do that" here. You always hear things like "touch the wood", "don't walk under the ladder", and "oh no, you've broken the mirror!". To be honest, I'm very tired of it. I'm not religious at all, and old beliefs seem really silly to me. I wish everyone was educated enough to only believe in scientific knowledge!
