Alien abduction in the White Mountains

The Betty and Barney Hill incident was an alleged alien abduction that took place on 19th September, 1961. It was the first truly popular story of alien abduction. It formed the template for all subsequent alien abduction stories.

Later, Barney and Betty Hill said they [ ] (DRIVE) on a country road to their home in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, when they suddenly had seen a bright object following their car.
