A Rude Frog

Once upon a time, there lived a frog that was fond of itself. It was greedy and stubborn; it would never let an elderly animal go first. It had no friends, but would you like [my|your|their] friends to act like that? Nobody wanted it as a friend — so it was spending [its|my|your] life completely single.

One day it met a wise old owl. It looked strictly at the Frog and said: «In [his|my|your] opinion, you are a rude animal, Frog! I think you must change [her|our|your] behavior, or you’ll get into big trouble!» But the Frog didn’t listen.

It was a rainy day, and [your|its|our] Frog — and it was a ‘he’ — went for a walk. But he couldn’t travel far because two badly behaving boys came to the forest. They saw [my|our|their] Frog and wanted to catch it. The Frog was shouting for help, but nobody wanted to give him shelter.

The boys were getting closer, and the Frog understood that none of [his|her|my] neighbours wanted to risk it because of him.

At last, he found a hole and got into it. There he was crying — and thinking over [your|my|his] life. The Frog understood that he was wrong, and he decided to change [their|his|her] life. And he did. The animals started to respect him, and he had many good friends.
