Nowadays it has become very popular to go hiking or walking. Wandering with friends or mates is more comfortable because you can always get support if you get into a difficult situation. Once two of my friends and I went on a hike in Scotland, I stumbled and sprained my ankle. It really hurt and I wasn't able to go further. The pain was so strong and thumping that I got unconscious. While my friend Pete was travelling to the nearest village to ask for help, my friend Joe stayed with me and tried to provide first medical aid.

Sometimes dawdling can save someone's life! My wife is a calm person who likes to do everything at her own tempo and because of this she is always late to work. But once my wife's tardiness helped a badly injured person. It was 7.30, and we were getting late as always when somebody cried: "Help! Help!" My wife went outside and saw a woman that got into a car crash. Her car hit the tree near our house. She was bleeding and had a dull pain in her arm - probably, she had broken it. My wife was bravely providing first aid while I was calling the doctor. Always calm and slow, my wife stayed calm and unflappable in that situation and being slow saved the woman's life.

I was 31 when I came to China. It was February and people were preparing to celebrate their Eastern New Year. It was evening time and I was walking home after shopping. The street where I was walking was pretty dark and I tried to fumble my way to go. Suddenly I fell down into a pit that I hadn't noticed. I bruised myself and broke all the toes on the right leg. I also was unhappy to get a stiff neck and splitting headaches because of the injury. But when my leg and foot recovered, I was really happy that I could stomp again! Now I'm treating my neck and headache and I hope to get over it soon. But there is a good thing – I managed to visit the fest even in this condition.
