The story is about our home party where we told each other ghost stories.

One day we decided to get together at my parents' house and have a home party. The theme of this party was ghosts and magical creatures. I brought a lot of books to read and Mike, a friend of mine, prepared some scary films about monsters and ghosts. Jane bought some tasty food for us. There were three of us at home.

We switched off the lights and lit the candles, then put them on the table. Jane served the table with burgers, chips, and pizza. I brought some cold drinks from the fridge. Then we sat on the sofa and started to tell and read to each other magical and spooky stories, eating all these dishes.

Suddenly we heard a noise from the garden. We looked out of the window, but nobody was there. In a minute we heard it again. It was dark and cold. We felt nervous and frightened. Then, when we heard a noise from the kitchen, we decided to go there together. We were really scared! We turned on the lights and saw a neighbour's cat on the floor. It was strange! How did it appear in my house? I called Mr. Jones, our neighbour, to take his cat home.

Fortunately, it wasn't a ghost but we couldn't sleep all night after it.
