While in developed countries children attend clubs and sports clubs, go to the cinema and cafes with friends, in Indian cities children are accustomed to hard work from an early age.

Officially, child labour is prohibited in India, but somehow the owners of coal mines circumvent these prohibitions. It is dangerous to work in mines: it is difficult to get there because of the narrow passage, and you have to work with your hands without any tools. Children descend to a depth of 90 meters. To work in the mines, almost all children have to leave school. All this is done to help families. On average, children receive $5 a day. Some manage to return to school after several years of working in the mines. But there are only a few such children. Despite the accidents, work in the mines continues. The only way to combat child labour is to ensure the well-being of the poor population of India.
