Good learners recognize that learning is not always fun. But that does not change how much they love it. Understanding the topic, when they finally get there, makes it all worth doing. But the journey to understanding is not generally all that exciting. Some learning tasks require boring repetition; others a mind-numbing attention to detail; still others involve periods of intense mental focus.
