According to the dictionaries, superstition is a belief that something or somebody can bring us good or bad luck. It isn't logical or scientifically proven, so it's the same as a belief in the supernatural.

Not everyone knows that saying "God bless you" after a sneeze is a part of superstitions too. It goes back to the period of a bubonic plague. People believed that, when a person sneezed, his soul went out and heart beating stopped for a moment. So they wished each other "God bless you" to welcome the person back to life.
