A Forgotten Festival
Many festivals attract a lot of people all over the world by their unique atmosphere. But there are some which have become totally forgotten by the public. Kubana is one of them.
Originated in Veselovka, Krasnodar region, in 2009, Kubana was a multifaceted festival of music, singing and dancing. From 2015 to 2016 it was held in Latvia.
Within just a few years it became tremendously popular not only in Russia but also beyond its borders. During its successful years, it hosted many famous musicians and music groups. It was a venue for street theatres which created the atmosphere of a carnival.
Now Kubana is not held because there is no appropriate place to organise it.
